Traveler Essentials:Your Questions Answered.

Is the North safe and accessible?

Absolutely. The North has seen a beautiful revival. While it is more rugged and authentic than the South, the infrastructure and hospitality are excellent.

What should I wear in Jaffna?

Jaffna is culturally conservative. We recommend covering shoulders and knees when visiting temples and public spaces out of respect for local traditions.

When is the best time for this tour?

The East Coast (Trinco, Kalkudah, A-Bay) is at its best from April to September, making this the perfect summer getaway.

Is the food in the North different?

Yes! Northern cuisine is famous for its unique spice blends and seafood (like Jaffna Crab Curry). It is often spicier and uses more palmyrah-based products.

How long is the train journey?

The train from Colombo to Jaffna takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. We book First-Class AC seats to ensure your journey is comfortable and scenic.
