How do I start planning my trip with Ceylonaa Holidays?
It begins with a conversation. You can share your interests, travel dates, and preferred pace via our Inquiry Form or WhatsApp. Our destination specialists will then curate a draft itinerary that balances your budget with your specific passions—whether they be wildlife, culture, or wellness.

What does “Bespoke” or “Tailor-Made” actually mean?
For us, “bespoke” means your itinerary is a blank canvas. Nothing is “off-the-shelf.” Every boutique hotel, daily start time, and activity is chosen specifically for you. If you wish to linger over a mountain view or trade a museum visit for a private cooking class in a local home, we make it happen.

How far in advance should I start planning?
To secure the island’s most coveted boutique villas and luxury tea bungalows—which often have very limited rooms—we recommend planning 6 to 10 months in advance, especially for travel during the peak season (December to April). However, we are also experts at handling last-minute luxury escapes.

When is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka is a unique year-round destination thanks to its two distinct monsoon seasons. Your specialist will guide you based on your goals:
December – April: The “Golden Window” for the South Coast, West Coast, and the Hill Country.
May – September: The perfect time for the East Coast (Trincomalee/Pasikudah) and the Cultural Triangle.
Festivals: We can time your journey around iconic events like the Kandy Perahera or local Full Moon (Poya) celebrations.

Will you handle my Visa and Entry requirements?
While travelers must apply for their own Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via the official government portal, we provide a comprehensive step-by-step guide and all the necessary local contact details (hotel addresses, etc.) to ensure your application is processed smoothly.

Which airport will I arrive at?
Most international travelers land at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) near Colombo. If you are arriving from India or exploring the North, Jaffna International Airport (JIA) is also an option. Regardless of your arrival point, your Ceylonaa Chauffeur-Guide will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a personalized paging board to begin your journey.

Can I get a local SIM card?
Yes, and we highly recommend it for high-speed 5G data.
The Ceylonaa Holidays Touch: Your Chauffeur-Guide will assist you with purchasing and activating a tourist SIM (Dialog or Mobitel) at the airport arrivals hall so you are connected before you even reach your first hotel.

What kind of vehicle and guide will I have?
Comfort is non-negotiable. You will travel in a private, modern, air-conditioned luxury vehicle (Sedan, SUV, or Van depending on your group size). Your Chauffeur-Guide is a licensed professional who acts as your local storyteller, navigator, and guardian throughout the island.

Can you arrange “Insider” experiences not found online?
Absolutely. Through our deep local network, we arrange exclusive encounters—such as private dining with local families, after-hours temple access, or meetings with renowned conservationists—that are reserved solely for Ceylonaa Holidays guests.
4. Payments, Security & Peace of Mind

How do I confirm and pay for my trip?
Once you approve your final itinerary, we issue a secure invoice.
Important Note on Payments: To ensure the highest level of security and compliance with local financial regulations, we currently accept payments exclusively via Bank Transfer. We do not offer online credit card or card-on-file payments at this time.

Are my payments protected?
Yes. As a fully licensed and registered Sri Lankan DMC (SLTDA), Ceylonaa Holidays operates under strict government regulations. Your payments are handled through transparent, regulated financial institutions, ensuring total peace of mind for your investment.

What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can evolve. Our policy is designed to be as flexible as possible, typically aligning with the specific terms of the boutique hotels in your itinerary. We always recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen changes.
